Massive fire breaks out in dhabas in Greater Noida; 10 fire tenders rushed

A massive fire erupted earlier today in several dhabas under the Bisrakh Police Station area in Greater Noida. The blaze, reportedly triggered by a short circuit, quickly engulfed multiple establishments including six dhabas (roadside eateries). 10 fire tenders were rushed to the scene to extinguish the inferno.
The fire department received the information about a fire in a dhaba near Gaur City Chowk in Greater Noida around 7am.
“We immediately rushed fire tenders to the spot. Upon reaching here, we saw that six dhabas and two shops were engulfed in fire. A total of 10 fire tenders were pressed into service,” said chief fire officer Pradeep Kumar.
“We have brought the fire under control, cooling operation is underway,” he added.
There were no casualties or injuries reported in the incident.
